Investarit joins forces with Diem Client Partner in Swiss wealth management market
Investarit becomes a member of the DCP Group.
Investarit, a Zurich-based international wealth management boutique and partner for comprehensive asset management services and Diem Client Partner (DCP), a Zurich-based independent wealth management boutique for high-net-worth individuals and institutional investors, have agreed to join forces and combine their current and future operations. The transaction unites two innovative, forward-looking and client-centric wealth management firms. Following the transaction, Investarit becomes a member of the DCP Group and will operate under its new name “Investarit by DCP” and a new branding. The transaction will leverage each other’s strengths to unlock synergies and provide private and institutional clients from Switzerland and Europe with individual, sustainable and future-proof investment solutions. Investarit’s investment style and team will remain unchanged and will benefit from the new shareholder’s complementary activities in real estate and private equity. Investarit will relocate to DCP’s offices in late 2022. The transaction is an essential milestone of Quaestor Coach’s long-term growth strategy in Switzerland. It marks the second milestone in its buy & build strategy aimed at taking advantage of potential consolidation opportunities in the Swiss wealth management market. The investment in Investarit follows Quaestor Coach’s initial transaction in Diem Client Partner (DCP) in December 2021. Investarit’s state-of-the-art organization, dynamic management team and unique investment style provide Quaestor Coach with additional key wealth management capabilities and experienced senior professionals in Switzerland. Sascha Peier, CEO of Diem Client Partner, states: “This partnership fits perfectly into our strategy of becoming a leading specialist wealth manager in our market. Investarit’s attractive client portfolio and growth potential under the ongoing leadership make it a particularly appealing partner. Given our similar values, work culture and our shared beliefs in a personalized approach to clients, we believe that we have laid the foundations to a common great future”.
Michael Thalmann, CEO of Investarit, states: “We are delighted to become a member of the DCP Group, a leading Swiss wealth management boutique committed to excellence. The transaction simplifies our business structure and allows us to focus on our clients to ensure their continued success and that of our wealth management boutique”. Mathias Vandermeeren, Acquisition Manager of Quaestor Coach, states: “We are pleased to welcome Investarit as a member of the DCP Group. We are impressed by Investarit’s expertise and entrepreneurial culture and look forward to working with the management team to create a unique growth platform in Switzerland together with DCP. This transaction reflects our confidence in the Swiss wealth management market“. Quaestor Coach was advised by Deloitte, Bär & Karrer and North Flow.
